Granite Barn

proposed to the client in 2011
a project to create a workspace for the client’s son (digital animator)
and a storage space for the client’s farming equipments.
The concept centers around a reuse of local Makabe stones (a type of granite)
that fell into pieces as a result of the earthquake in March 2011 for reconfiguring the new life style.
The lives of local farmers, the lives of digital creators, young and old,
are designed to coexist and mingle by the barn.
